Tables
Tables are ideal to present more detailed information than can be presented in a graph.
We will work with tables presented in the previous module on Analysis Techniques.
Titles
Titles should be brief but descriptive. The title of the table describes the numbers that are captured therein. If the number is a percent, the table should indicate it. If the numbers of Means, then that should be reflected in the title.
Titles are a good place to display the sample size (n=sample size).
Composition of Tables
Generally, tables should generally be longer than they are wide.
When listing independent and dependent variables together, categories of independent variables should be listed vertically instead of horizontally.
