Training
Physical Training
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Cadets conduct physical training by doing a multitude of exercises. Cadet Borrego is seen here enjoying the dawn with a “few” flutter kicks.
Combat Water Survival Training

Senior Cadet Foster assists a fellow Cadet in the 3 meter drop portion of CWST. Cadets are blind folded and walk off the end of a 3 meter diving board in this confidence building exercise.
MOUT Training
Senior Cadets demonstrate for their classmates the proper techniques for clearing buildings. MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) training prepares cadets for the military operations of today’s contemporary military environment.
Rappelling
Cadet Sprawling rappels down the side of Robertson Stadium. This short drop will build her confidence to rappel 40 feet down the side of an open tower the next summer for LDAC.
Land Navigation
Practice makes perfect when it comes to Land Navigation. Cadet Campbell works to plot all his points before he begins his course, because with only a map, compass, and protractor the smallest mistake means the difference between becoming lost or finishing the course.
Hand Grenade Assault Course
Cadets in buddy teams negotiate our hand grenade assault course. The course combines multiple throwing techniques, rushes, and all within a time limit. By the way, you still have to hit the targets.
Field Training Exercises (FTX)
During field training exercises (FTX), in three days Cadets will participate in multiple events ranging from FLRC, Rappelling, Land Navigation, and Squad Lanes. Each event will test a Cadet’s confidence, team building ability, and Leadership in different environments.
