- Community of Science: UH subscribes to the most comprehensive database of funding opportunities in all fields. It has an excellent search mechanism: keywords, fields of study, etc. You can focus your searches as broadly or narrowly as you choose. In addition, COS allows you to create a username and password and profile. Doing so will enable you to access the database from any computer — at home, while traveling, etc.
