Welcome to the Health Psychology Research Group (HPRG) at the University of Houston. Our research, graduate training, and community service activities focus on improving the quality of life for persons and their families living with disabilities or chronic illness. One focus of our work is to study the impact of breast cancer on survivors and their families. This work is designed to provide a model to promote understanding of what it means to live with cancer or other life-threatening illness at home, work, and in the community.
