Course Structure and Duties:
The course is divided into seven sections, each ending with a QUIZ. Quizzes occur roughly every two weeks.
You are expected to do all reading, and do all exercises assigned in each section BY THE DATE DUE! The due date is usually two class days before the quiz. (See the course schedule.) Exercises must be READY TO HAND IN at the beginning of class on their due dates. If you miss any quiz or exercise set without getting in touch with me, I may drop you from the course.
Grading Policy:
How your grade is calculated: The 7 Quizzes count 10% each, for a total of 70% The Final counts 30%.
A class participation grade will be assigned to you based on your homework and attendance.
Your lowest quiz grade (including zero) will be replaced by the participation grade if this improves your grade.
