The Moores Opera Center returns to the Mucky Duck!

We have been besieged with requests to bring it back, so the Moores Opera Center of the University of Houston returns to the Mucky Duck for a season kick-off evening of favorite arias and musical theatre songs. Grab a beer, have some food, and be entertained by an impressive parade of up and coming stars. With dozens of singers and no elephants in sight, it's the way opera ought to be done!

A banana republic declares war on the Nazis and newlywed salsa musicians are caught in the crossfire. Love is put to the test in this bittersweet comedy that sways to the sultry rhythms of the Caribbean. As promised, Daniel Catán’s passionate and lush music returns to Houston!
