About the Festival
The mission of the festival is to prepare college aged and young professional musicians for careers in music through a four-week intensive summer orchestral training program.
Conductors and Faculty
Orchestra participants work with renowned guest conductors and solo performers, members of Houston's orchestras, UH and Rice faculty, and other outstanding artists and teachers.
Season Schedule
Music "Made in America" will be performed during the 2011 season by the Festival Orchestra, institute ensembles, student chamber groups, guest artists, and faculty.

2011 Master Class Series
TMF Orchestra Fellows will have the opportunity to perform in classes by guest and faculty artists. Attendance to all TMF Master Classes is free and open to the public.
2011 PERSPECTIVES Series
Curated and performed by TMF Faculty Artists, these concerts explore chamber music and jazz compositions that were "Made in America."
