Student Wins Scholarship

Mr. Matthew Borski, a student in our CHNS 1502 has received a full scholarship, HSK B Scholarship to study in Beijing University for six months in the fall.
This prestigious and highly competitive scholarship is sponsored by the Chinese government, the National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. The scholarship provides full tuition, fees, medical insurance, room, board, textbooks, and monthly allowance to the student. Recipients may choose any university to study in China. The scholarship is given via the Education Section of Consulate General of PRC in Houston and the Chinese program at UH.

Pictures from the trip in China this summer July 1 – August 5 2004. It was great experience both academically and cultureally and everyone enjoys it!
