Anthropology and Archaeology of India
The University of Houston, in cooperation with the University of Houston Clear Lake, will offer a course in the Anthropology and Archaeology of India.
Art of India
Similar to the above courses, it may be possible to recruit a scholar from the local academic or art community to teach a course dedicated to the Art of India. This would be offered in the format of an art history course with an emphasis on the early and modern art of India.
History of India
It is our long-term goal to raise money from the community to attract a world class scholar dedicated to the History of India. This internationally recognized professor would establish the University as a center for the History of India, and would also serve as a leader in the area of India Studies.
