Subordinating Conjunctions (die subordinierende Konjunktionen)

Subordinating Conjunctions introduce adverb clauses.
Ex: Er möchte wissen, ob du heute Vollyball spielst. (He would like to know if you are playing vollyball today.)
Ex: Sie kommt bestimmt, wenn sie Zeit hat. (She will probably come if she has time.)

Common Subordinating Conjunctions

als (when)	ob (if, whether)
als ob als wenn (as if)	obgleich obschon obwohl (although, even though)
bevor ehe (before)	seit seitdem [since (temporal)]
bis (until)	sobald (as soon as)
da [because, since (casual)]	solange (as long as)
damit (so that)	sooft (as often as)
daß (that)	während (while; whereas)
falls (in case, if)	weil (because)
indem [by (doing something)]	wenn (if; when, whenever)
nachdem (after)

Coordinating Conjunctions (die koordinierende Konjunktionen)

Coordinating Conjunctions connect words, phrases, or clauses of equal weight.

Ex: Maria geht ins Café, aber sie bestellt nichts. (Maria is going into the café, but she is not ordering anything).
