DEGREES (cont.)

Minor in Classical Studies
We have now established a minor in Classical Studies that allows students to take our many civilization and literature courses taught in English and apply them toward a minor degree concentration. This new minor is similar to the major in Classical Studies, but without the language requirements. A minor in Classical Studies could be an ideal complementary strength for majors in English, French, German, Spanish, History, Political Science, or Anthropology.

1. 6 semester hours from approved history and civilization courses (HIST or CLAS).
2. 3 semester hours in mythology (CLAS 3307 or CLAS 3308).
3. 6 elective semester hours from CLAS, LATN (2301 or above), or GREK (2301) courses, or others by consent of director.
