Teaching Certification

The School of Education oversees teaching cerrification. All students interested in receiving a BA and Teaching Certification at the University of Houston should go to 246 Farish Hall for advising. The No Child Left Behind Act requires that teachers major in the field that they intend to teach, with a minimum of 24 hours in that subject.


Minor in World Cultures and Literatures
