The Taste of the Universe

    Most people in the world desire and dream about being able to travel to exciting and far away places. Most people however can not afford to make this dream a reality. Creating a taste of the universe in Dallas, Texas will allow many people to make the American Dream a reality.
We would create a miniature replica of top travel destinations in one city. This would afford many Americans the opportunity to see these exciting places they have read about throughout history and dreamed about visiting. The featured replicas were chosen based on research on the greatest travel destination in the world. Sites chosen to be replicated are: Paris France, Venice Italy, London England, Saqqara Egypt, and Las Vegas Nevada. 
    Paris was chosen because it is the most visited city in the world and deserves the attention because it's stunning, stylish and sensual, with a dramatic past still morphing into a funky present. It's a seductive place of cuisine, couture and culture , Paris is renown for it’s Left and Right bank. The Left Bank would consist of a replica of the Eiffel Tower, the 320m tower landmark of Paris. It would also have the adjacent park Champ de Mars which would be pleasant for picnics for weary travelers. A taste of Paris would not be complete without the Musee d’Orsay, a museum with exquisite collections of Impressionist work. The right bank would consist of replica’s of the world famous Arc De Triomphe, which was commissioned by Napoleon. It will also be composed of the peaceful Tuileries Garden and the incredible Louvre, which is a vast building with class pyramid entrance, where Mona Lisa still smiles. One of the exciting attractions will be the Notre Dame. Notre Dame is a gothic cathedral where you climb 387 steps for a breathtaking view of Paris and close look at some scary gargoyles. 
    Our second replica city is Venus, Italy. Venus was chosen because its must see scenery and romance. It is famous for the Rialto Bridge, Piazza and Basilica San Marco, the Doge’s Palace, Accademia Bridge and the greatest of all the Grand Canal. The Grand Canal theme would be carried out throughout the project. Tourist will have the option to view all of the scenery via walking tours, street cars, or by water busses. 
    Our next replica city is London, England. London is being chosen because of the history and culture leaking from every brick. London will have excellent restaurants, castles, interesting shops, great theatre and unparalleled museums.. There will be replica’s of the major sights, such as the Houses of Parliament(Big Ben), Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace (changing of the Guard), Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, British Library, The Eye (Big Wheel), Tate Modern, British Museum, and the Somerset House for summer fountains and winter skating.
    Another historical replica will be Saqqara, Egypt. Early Greeks, Romans, and others went to Egypt to see the wonders of some of mankind’s earliest triumphs. Egypt is known for the Holy Land and for the Pyramids. Saqqara. is known for its burial ground located near the old capitol of Memphis. Many pharaohs were buried in this burial ground . Several pyramids are located there, the most famous and most visible is the Djoser Step Pyramid. This pyramid was built before the Great Pyramids at Giza. Its architect was Imhotep who was made a god for his services. The Djoser complex includes a miniature city constructed so that the Pharaoh could work in the afterlife, just as he did in this life. You will able to climb down a spiral stair to reach a burial chamber. 

    Our last replica will be of famous Las Vegas, Nevada, the number one tourist spot in the United States. The famous strip will be replicated with it’s captivating and electrifying casinos. Las Vegas will be very kid-friendly with many attractions catered toward families. It will be able to host every athletic events imaginable: World Cup Soccer, Super bowl, Little League Championships, Boxing from Golden Gloves to Heavy Weight Championships, Ice Skating .etc. There will not be any event too small or too large to be hosted in Little Las Vegas.
Now that you are captivated by the thought and reality of being able to get a Taste of the Universes in one place, join me as we go from dreaming to planning to construction. This proposal first of all will not be cheap. Oak Cliff has plenty of room to construct a project of this nature. The project will also take an enormous amount of time to create. On the flip side, this project will fix an enormous amount of problems we now have in Dallas. It will create jobs for every person no matter what age or race. It will bring an enormous amount of money into the economy in many ways. Every city within a hundred miles will profit from this endeavor. 
    Now lets focus on funding. This endeavor will be very costly, but instead of looking at the short term goal we have to view the possibilities of the long term positive picture. One avenue will be taxation. We can start by taxing the service’s that will resort or profit from this increase of tourism, such as taxi cabs, hotels, restaurants, malls, airports, buses, and etc. We would try to limit to much of an increase in taxes on the local community. We can also try to get private investors and sell city bonds. We will also try to get some of the neighboring cities to join in on certain ventures. 
Lets now take a virtual view of this project. Close your eyes and imagine being in a place of this nature. The central theme will be the Grand Canal replica of Venice, Italy and the left and right banks of Paris. You will find this theme through the entire universe. Public transportation will be provided by water taxis Walking and cycling trails will consist throughout. On the Northern corner will be the replica of Paris with all its it's dramatic, stylish and sensual places of cuisine, couture and culture, . As you venture North to South, you will find yourself in London. England.. where you can take in a multitude of historical sites. such as Buckingham palace. As you go east in the Universe you will find yourself in Saqqara. Egypt, in the midst of pyramids and tombs. East to West will take you to the entertainment capital of the world, Little Las Vegas. Every sense you have will be taken to its limit, taste, smell, vision, touching and hearing. The entire universe will be interactive and kid friendly. 
It will be a universe within a city. Every block traveled will be like traveling thousand of thousands of miles. You can go to Venice from Las Vegas in twenty minutes. Picture how romantic and profitable an endeavor like this will be. Each city will feature its own authentic cuisine. You can dine in France at breakfast and Italy at lunch. You can go from exploring a castle in London to burial tombs in Egypt. It has historical and educational spots that can not even be imagined in one place. Now that you had a visual sample of this project, you agree the cost is pennies compared to the benefits gained from this proposal. This will make Dallas, the number one tourist site in the Universe. We will make dreams a cost effective reality in tasting and visiting far away places Their American dreams will now become an affordable reality.
