Coursework
The graduate creative writing program combines the study of literature with the study and practice of creative writing. Students take course works in both areas. Ideally students would do, at least, one creative writing workshop or similar type of course a semester. It is possible for students to do a limited number of independent study courses, if they receive appropriate advance approval. To register for courses, students must meet with the adviser for English Graduate Studies.
