As one of the leading cultural institutions in Texas and the Southwest, the Program offers poets, fiction writers, and non-fiction writers intensive training in both creative writing and literary studies.
The Program offers two graduate degrees: the M.F.A. (with thesis) in a 3-year course of study; the Ph.D., Literature and Creative Writing, normally takes five years.
