Mark Your Calendar for the 2008 VSOCAA Homecoming Festivities

The Valenti School of Communication Alumni Association invites you to join us for our 2008 Homecoming Reunion Weekend.

EVENT 1) MIX, MINGLE and REUNITE:
We'll kick-off the celebration with a Happy Hour Reunion at 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 7.

The Oak Room at Stag's Head Pub, 2128 Portsmouth St. Houston, TX 77098 http://www.stagsheadpub.com/location/index.htm

EVENT 2) GAME DAY:
Join us for the homecoming tailgate, 4 p.m., Sat., Nov. 8. at the TKE Cookers/ VSOCAA/ Honors College tailgating tent at Robertson Stadium. Since we're playing Tulane, the theme of the food will be Cajun (fried catfish, red beans & rice and gumbo).

The tailgate is $10 per person, which includes meal and drink (soda or beer). Please invite your fellow former and current cougar family and friends. Alumni who pre-register for the tailgate through My Cougar Connection will receive a discounted tailgate rate of $5. We will be sending the pre-registration link in a separate email later this week.

Also, don't forget to support the VSOCAA in the 2008 TAILGATE CHALLENGE.

Now a tradition, the Tailgate Challenge pits alumni groups from various colleges, areas, and special interests against each other in a friendly battle of barbeque, spirit, and scholarship supremacy. As part of the event, HAO is offering a "Power of Red" wristband to everyone who pledges $10 toward the scholarship initiative. Alumni and friends may donate online by selecting the group of their choice (VSOCAA) on the processing page. Help UH students and show your spirit at the same time!

RSVP online!

CELEBRATE YOUR COUGAR SPIRIT WITH OLD TRADITIONS & NEW BEGINNINGS.

See you at the festivities!
