Dr. Aghara received her Masters and PhD from The University of Texas, Austin in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders with an emphasis on bilingual language development. Prior to coming to UH, Dr. Aghara was a postdoctoral fellow in the Developmental Pediatrics Department at University of Texas Health Science Center, where she focused on early language and literacy development in at-risk populations. She teaches normal language development and child language disorders.
