Neurophysiology

Neurophysiology is a division of neuroscience that studies the responses of the nervous system, such as those involved in the transmission of elecrochemical signals through and between neurons.
Neurophysiology is a distinct field from other divisions of neuroscience such as neuroanatomy, which studies the structure of the nervous system, neuropathology, which studies nervous system disorders, and neuropharmacology, which studies the effects of drugs on the nervous system.
