Using Safari 2.0
Automatic RSS Support
Safari versions 2.0 and above have built-in RSS support. This allows you to visit websites and bookmark them as usual. However, if you boomark a site that is RSS-enabled, you will be able to collect the latest updates without having to visit the site itself.
Visible Updates
Further, if the bookmark is visible on your bookmark bar, you will be able to see when there are updates as a number will appear next to the bookmark's name. Putting a folder of bookmarks on the bookmarks bar will create a tally of the updates in all feeds contained within the folder. Click on the bookmark to bring up the Safari RSS page.
Viewing the Feeds
Click on a link in from the RSS page to view the related content.
You can change the settings for the RSS feeds by going to . You will be able to customize how frequently Safari checks for updates, how long articles will stay in your feed, and select the colors to indicate new additions to the page so that you can more easily indentify the new content.
