Lecture Archive
Description
During the normal face-to-face meeting, the instructor captures the lectures as either audio or video and makes the sessions available as archives for further review after the class. Potential ways of capturing the lecture include audio recordings, camcorder set ups, or screen capture software such as Camtasia, Snag It, or Snapz Pro which will capture what is being projected directly from a computer.
Educational Benefits
- Students who are unable to attend class will have the ability to catch up by downloading the lecture session.
- Students who had a hard time understanding concepts discussed in class will have a way to review what was said in the original lecture.
- Students who do not speak English as their native language will have the ability to repeatedly play back the lecture to enhance their comprehension.
