Your Arrival

• Please arrive on time. Docents are scheduled and paid to work specific times. If you are running late, notify the gallery by calling 713-743-9521.
• Please have large groups wait in the courtyard, so that they may be admitted in smaller groups.
• Please leave your personal belongings, especially backpacks or bulky items, with the front desk attendant.

Safety and Security
Please make sure your group understands these guidelines before starting a tour.

• There is an elevator in the gallery which is handicap accessible.
• School and daycare groups should be accompanied by adults, preferably in a 1:8 adult to student ratio.
• Keep your group together during the tour; participants cannot switch groups.
• Works of art must be viewed, not touched. Please do not lean against artwork or walls.
• Children should not be left unattended at any time.
• Cell phones must be turned off.
• Students must speak in low voices; loud voices echo in the galleries.
• If students are taking notes or sketching, pencils are preferred.
• Food, gum, and drinks are not allowed in the museum.
• Repeat violators of these rules will be asked to leave the museum.
