Your Arrival
- Please arrive on time. Docents are scheduled and paid to work specific times. If you are running late, notify the gallery by calling 713-743-9521.
- Please have large groups wait in the courtyard, so that they may be admitted in smaller groups.
- Please leave your personal belongings, especially backpacks or bulky items, with the front desk attendant.
Safety and Security
Please make sure your group understands these guidelines before starting a tour.
- There is an elevator in the gallery which is handicap accessible.
- School and daycare groups should be accompanied by adults, preferably in a 1:8 adult to student ratio.
- Keep your group together during the tour; participants cannot switch groups.
- Works of art must be viewed, not touched. Please do not lean against artwork or walls.
- Children should not be left unattended at any time.
- Cell phones must be turned off.
- Students must speak in low voices; loud voices echo in the galleries.
- If students are taking notes or sketching, pencils are preferred.
- Food, gum, and drinks are not allowed in the museum.
- Repeat violators of these rules will be asked to leave the museum.
