AMER 4300 - American Cultures Program Capstone Experience
AMER 4300 is the American Cultures Program capstone experience. It involves a special problems course, either under the direction of Professor Steven Mintz, the American Culture Program's director, or with another faculty member of the student's choosing.
Generally, AMER 4300 either takes the form of an internship or a research project. In either case, the student typically writes a 15-20 page essay.

- A study of Houston's rock music scene
