Quiz for Lesson 4, part a                       part b

  Suggested strategy

This lesson should be done in three stages:

a) Read 4.1 and 4.2 and do the declension exercise before practising with the two Drills on first declension nouns.

b) After you master the endings of nouns, you are ready to continue with 4.3a and 4.3b and do the corresponding exercises

c) 4.4 requires close attention, since it sets the foundation for the understanding of basic and frequent structures.  You know now how to handle translation and composition materials.   If the composition seems too challenging, skip it and return to it after you finish lesson 5.  Compositions are good for review!
