Undergraduate
Lower Division
Lower Division Studies is responsible for all freshman and sophomore student issues.
Lower Division manages core curriculum related concerns, , and English placement exams, as well as advising students about University of Houston academic policies.
Upper Division
The Upper Division of the English Department graduates many English majors each year with concentrations in Literature, Linguistics, or Creative Writing. Many students also choose to pursue a Minor in English.
