Patricia Lee Yongue

Associate Professor

Patricia Lee Yongue is a specialist in modern American literature and culture and in women's studies. She has published essays on women writers, especially Willa Cather, and is a past winner of the Christian Hoepfner Prize for her work on Cather. Her teaching and research in American literature continues, and she has added automotive and motorsport history and culture to her professional activities. She has published several essays on women auto racers of the modern period. Currently, she serves on the Board of the Society of Automotive Historians. She is a former Advisor and Director of Undergraduate Studies and has won Sigma Tau Delta and Mortar Board teaching recognition.
