Jane Weiner

Hope Stone is directed by choreographer and dancer Jane Weiner.

Jane Weiner danced in New York with the Doug Elkins Company for 10 years, and has also danced in the works of many other artists including Deborah Tell, Mark Dendy, Kevin Wynn, Jennifer Monson, Donna Uchazano, Michael Foley, and Sandra Organ here in Houston.

After moving to Houston in 1997, Jane Weiner founded Hope Stone as an artistic endeavor, a fundraising organization for Pink Ribbons for breast cancer research, and an educational outlet for at-risk children in the Houston Community.

Hope Stone has presented Weiner's own original work in a number of venues in Houston including Diverse Works, HCC's Heinen Theatre, the Kaplan Theater at the JCC, the Wortham Theatre downtown, and Miller Outdoor Theater in Herman Park. Jane Weiner has directed the Bate's Summer Dance Festival's Youth Program in Maine for the last seven years.
